Sunny Málaga

Hello!

Today we continue with my trip to Spain. During our stay in Granada, my friends and I visited two other cities: Málaga and Córdoba. Today I would like to tell you something more about our trip to Málaga.

Let's see some information about this city:
Málaga is the capital of the Province of Malaga, in the Autonomous Community of Andalusia, Spain. With a population of 569,130 it is the second-most populous city of Andalusia and the sixth-largest in Spain. The southernmost large city in Europe, it lies on the Costa del Sol (Coast of the Sun), about 100 kilometers east of the Strait of Gibraltar and about 130 km north of Africa.

Málaga is about 125 km from Granada so we decided to go to see this city in our rental car. The trip was not so long, rather interesting because despite going on a highway we did not stop seeing olive trees everywhere (and what can be more typical in the south of Spain?).
The first thing that surprised us when we arrived in Malaga was the weather. The distance from Granada is not very big but the temperature changed significantly. While in Granada people wore coats and umbrellas, in Málaga you could still walk around the port, near the sea in short sleeves or with a very thin sweater.
We really liked that summer feeling because in Poland we cannot count on temperatures like that either. It is hard to believe that while we are going through the cold, in other parts of the world people are sunbathing (and you do not have to go to Africa to find them. You just need to get to some places in southern Spain).

In Málaga we joined a tour that revolved around the history of the city and of Picasso. Then we saw some of the most important sites in the city and the rest of the time we spent strolling through the beautiful streets of this city. Malaga has a lot to offer. For me it is a very interesting place to live. The weather is very nice, the city is large and quite developed, Málaga has many green spaces and parks and access to the beach .. Can you ask for more?

As you can see, Málaga has impressed me a lot. I do not want to compare this city with Granada because honestly, that is not possible. These are two very different cities, but both are interesting and worth visiting.

Love,
Natalia
